So here's what I found.

1. Take comfortable workout clothes. They can also be your lazy day clothes.

2. Make sure to have something warm. You can always take off layers, so make sure you can be warm.

3. Don't be afraid to trade out clothes for others. Variety is good and there is no need to wear 5 different shirts all semester.

4. Make sure everything matches and coordinates with everything else. It will save you time on days youre running late and it also saves space.

5. Scarves are your best friend. They don't tangle like necklaces and they add extra personality to your outfits.Plus in winter they help to keep you warm!

6.  It's fine to wait and buy clothes and such after you have moved. You don't need everything right away.

7.  Take fancy outfits. T And wear them! They will make you feel empowered and it will boost your mental health in the middle of the most stressful times away from home.

8. Big bags will be your best friend. You can throw anything and if it's big enough , everything, inside this bag!

9. It is college, you'll be doing a lot of walking. Get cute shoes made by brands such as JellyPpop, and have cute feet friendly shoes!

10. Find a jacket that is cute and keeps you warm. It's the smartest and cheapest way to dress in colder climates.

BONUS!

11. Take a scarf hanger. It will save your floor space

and keep yourself organized! You can store belts and scarves. It's great!

10 Things I Love.

Why would I write 10 things that I love? Why not. My blog is new and it's a way for my readers to get to know me.

I figure if I let you guys get to know me, you guys might let me get to know you! :)

1. I am absolutely LOVE music. It's the one thing I could never live without. I play 5 instruments and teach violin lessons. I cannot stand to sit in a quiet room. I constantly have music playing, whether it's a recorded song or I'm the one making the music.

Music is how I express myself and I don't always like sharing my music. Because its MY music. Anyone else the same way?

2. If I could only see one color for the rest of my life, it would be purple. Everything in my future house will be purple. My bedroom is straight purple. My family never has a hard time when it comes to presents as long as they get me something purple.

3. I am obsessed with Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family. I've watched it from the beginning and have my own theories. If you watch it, let's talk! I love hearing other peoples theories.

I think I've watched it for almost 5 years? I think it's been on for 5 seasons, and I've watched it since the very first episode aired.

You should totally watch it!

4. I am a total daddy's girl, and I have him wrapped around my finger.

5. I love to cook. I'm the main person who cooks at my house, so I've developed a skill for cooking. It was either learn to cook or eat nasty food.. You see why I can cook.

I love cooking breakfast foods, even thought I usually end up making it for dinner. Anyone else love breakfast for dinner? It's probably the best thing ever!

6. I love, love, love a garlic dip my mom makes. It's literally my weakness and could quite possibly be the death of me. It's delicious and simple, and SO horrible for you. But yolo right? :)

7. Musicals are something that always makes me happy, especially if there is romance. Grease, Hairspray, Mama Mia, High School Musical, South Pacific, The Sound of Music, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Les Miserables, Wicked, I could go on for hours.

I think I've seen every single one of these. And not only one time.. But I'm okay with it!

8. I waited to pierced my ears on my 18th birthday. I'm a huge baby and hate needles, so turning 18 wasn't a hard thing to wait for and it put off having to get it done.

9. I'm the youngest of my family, and the youngest grand-kid on both sides of my family.

10. I graduated from high school at 17. Don't think I'm some genius.. My birthday was just weeks after graduation, but I sounded smart, right?

Pixie cuts are H.E.A.V.E.N.L.Y.

Recently I decided to change my hair and try a pixie cut. It was the BIGGEST change I had ever made concerning my appearance. I was so worried about whether or not I could pull it off. And guess what I decided.

Anyone can pull off a pixie cut, you just have to find the right one for you.

I started out researching every kind of pixie cut there is. Long bangs, short bangs, asymmetrical, shaved, I could go on for days. I found the main style I was wanting, and then looked into finding a specific one. I looked through millions before I thought I found the one, and in the end, I changed my mind. I thought i found the one, and then I ran across the one of Becki, who blogs under the name Whippy Cake. I fell in love with her hair! I had to have it.

Isn't her hair adorable?!

I called my hair salon and set up an appointment. With time, I drove to the salon and waited with shaking hands until it was time for my cut. I sat in the chair with a pounding heart and nervousness flowing through my body. The second I heard my hair stylist make the first cut, a wave of excitement rushed through me and i could hardly set long enough to have her finish the cut.

This was the end result. I loved it! I have always been told that everyone needs to have a time in their life where they try short hair. And I completely agree!

It's been a little time since I got it cut and now I'm on the search looking for the next cut I want to try. Wish me luck!

Check out my post Finding The Right Pixie Cut to see how I choose the right one for me.
